Our Interns
Over the years, Messengers for Health has welcomed high school students, work study students from Little Big Horn Tribal College as well as undergraduate, graduate students and postdoctoral scholars from Montana State University. Our student research interns are a vital part of our efforts and are involved in all aspects of the program.
These bright young students are actively involved in every aspect of our research projects as well as participate in our outreach activities.
They regularly present about their work at conferences, write about individual aspects of Messengers for Health for publications, and fulfill requirements for degree programs through their involvement.
We are proud of our Research Student Interns

"I have loved all my time spent with the Messengers for Health team, as I have learned much about the Crow community, bonded with our research team, and understand how to implement health care education into a community to watch people's lives improve. I am excited to continue my work with Messengers for health while writing a methods paper and learning much from my fellow community members!"
"As a student intern with Messengers for Health, I have had the opportunity to meet so many inspiring people--from community leaders to program participants to other researchers and students. This warm-hearted team has been a source of energy and has provided me with a vision for what healthy, empowered communities can look like."
